Hockey Tournaments Postponement 2018

Kia ora all,

The upcoming Tasman Regional 7 Aside School Hockey Tournaments scheduled for this week has been POSTPONED due to inclement weather until next week. The new dates are below:

• Year 3 & 4 Mixed – TUESDAY 28 AUGUST 2018, 0930-1400

• Year 5 & 6 Mixed, Girls & Boys – WEDNESDAY 29 AUGUST 2018, 0930-1400

Tuesday 21st August
Postponement date TBC
Start 9.30 am
Leaving school straight after roll call
Finishing 2.00pm
Saxton Field Hockey Turfs

Children will be returning to school at the end of the tournament and can be collected at normal school finish time.

CHILDREN MUST HAVE A MOUTH GUARD AND SHIN PADS TO PLAY

Children need to bring : Water Bottle
Lunch
Snacks
Uniform : Sports top and navy shorts

Southern Steel Visit 

We are lucky to have the Southern Steel coming to school on Wednesday 22nd August, 9.15am - 10am. All the Year 3 & 4 and Year 5 & 6 netballers will meet with the Steel at 9.15am in the MPLC for a talk and Q&A and then some skills and game time.

At 10 am Hannah  and Alizae will join Dallas and they will spend the day with the team visiting Upper Moutere, lunching at the Mapua Wharf and visiting Mapua School before returning to school.
