GUIDELINES   FOR   PARTICIPATION
Thank you all for being a member of a Nayland Primary School sports team.
You will enjoy playing sport and being a member of your team.
We have parents prepared to give up time to coach / train you weekly or attend games.  We must remember to thank
them for doing this.
You are representatives of Nayland Primary, which you need to take seriously:
·         Playing on behalf of the school.
·         The school reputation is resting on your shoulders.
·         You are playing in the public eye.

Being a Nayland team member carries certain responsibilities:
·         To turn up for training sessions each week, and do what your coach asks of you, positively and
enthusiastically.
·         To be punctual when turning up for games / practices at least 15 mins before game time.
·         To play hard but fairly.
·         To be positive and enjoy yourself when playing.
·         To be positive and supportive towards your team mates.
·         To comply with the rulings of the referee / umpire without complaint.
·         To obey the requests of your coaches / managers.
·         To listen carefully and speak to others appropriately and respectfully.
·         To be smartly turned out – with the necessary gear and school uniform.
·         To treat school sports property with care and respect.
·         To share and celebrate your successes, and be supportive towards each other at all times.

“Enjoy your sport, make sure you have fun, be prepared to work hard” –  Valerie Adams
