Hockey Holiday Programme

Our Hockey Holiday Programme is a fantastic way to keep the kids entertained over the school holiday period. It involves hockey and non-hockey activities. There are group activities, team challenges and a mini hockey tournament.
2018 NHA Hockey Holiday Program-(July)
NHA Hockey Holiday Program starts Monday July 09th
Mondays to Fridays Y 1-8
Week 1: 09-13 July
Week 2: 16-20 July

Due to start in the July School Holidays!!

NHA Holiday Programmes offers primary school kids 3 options:

Option 1: Morning Holiday  programme (9.00 – 12.00 pm): Year 1-8
Cost $25.00 Direct Debit per day or $100 Full Week
Developing the different  skills as well as the fundamental movement skills (agility, balance, coordination and speed) from different sports of each player in a very fun environment. Our Coaching Team is made up of NHA representative players and we work in a lower coach ration ( approx.1-8) looking for a more individual attention. We aim to train in small groups of the same age and ability. It’s open to Y1- Y8.
Option 2:   Afternoon Holiday Programme ( 12;30-03:30 pm);Year 1-8
Cost $25.00 Direct Debit per day or $100 Full Week

Cost $45.00 Direct Debit per day or $200 Full Week
After the morning session we have lunch together (which the players bring along) or you can order at our Cafe. After lunch the programme continues with fun games, hockey, other sports and Outdoor activities .

RICHMOND MALL SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAMME
16th, 17th & 18th JULY 2018
YEAR 4 - 6 NETBALLERS
9:30am - 2.30pm (Saxton Stadium & Pavilion)
Cost: $40 per day or $100 for all 3 Days
Cost: EARLY BIRD SPECIAL - Register by Friday 29th June & receive the special price of $85 for 3 days.
This Holiday Programme will be run by Holly Chandler who plays in our Premier Grade. Holly is currently at Teachers College and plays Volleyball for NZ U23s.
Morning sessions will include activities relating to Netball such as:
team building
netball smart warm up
skills
fitness
games

Afternoon sessions will include fun activities including:
Cooking
Competitions
other sports and games
quizzes

Come and learn some netball skills, improve your netball and have FUN!!

Regional Cross Country


Friday 29th June 2018
(The event will be held rain or fine)
Rabbit Island - Western End by Mountain Bike Park, it will be sign posted

Students will be leaving school at 10.10 am
Course opens at 11am
Races start at 11.30pm with briefing at 11.20pm


Races: 11.30pm Year 5 & U Girls
11.45pm Year 5 & U Boys
12.00pm Year 6 Girls
12.15pm Year 6 Boys
1.00pm         Prize giving
Race Briefing 11.20pm

All grades run a distance of 2km

Students will have time to walk around the course & have morning tea. Because of the time it would be beneficial to have a good breakfast.

Students should take their bag with their lunch and all their gear.
Shoes/Spikes must be worn as the course is not guaranteed to be free from hidden broken glass or sharp stones
Warm clothing and a change of footwear is necessary. N.B. runners will get wet and muddy especially if it rains.
        Bring a plastic bag to put your gear in. Bring a towel and a drink bottle.
All runners must wear the Nayland tee-shirt and navy shorts.

Rippa Finals 2018


Congratulations the Nayland Skuxinators,  who have made it through to the Rippa Finals.  

Rippa Finals - Tuesday 19th June at Henley School (Postponement date Friday 21st June)

Leaving school 9.15 arriving back approx. 2.30 pm

Children will need to bring their water bottle, lunch, warm clothes and towel.

Children will be playing in bare feet ( No touch or rugby boots)
